"Gruben-Light-Dinner": Dine in the mine

A culinary highlight 300 metres below ground:

Our mine train will take you 1,5 kilometres into the mine, 300 meters below ground. After a guided tour of our fascinating mine, you will experience a delicious banquet!

Enjoy the romantic atmosphere

In the beautifuly lit tunnels you will enjoy a truly memorable culinary experience, surrounded by original mining tools and ore nuggets. "Frösche", authentic old mining lamps, will illuminate the tunnel with a festive sheen.

A culinary adventure awaits you...

e.g. with delicious smoked ham, sauerkraut with potatoes and knuckles and a wide selection of cheeses
drinks are included (Veltins Pilsener, orange juice und mineral water)

After a three-hour stay undeground you will then be taken back to the surface. "Glück auf!"

Dates and prices: Gruben-Light-Dinner

After the guided tour of the mine, the "Gruben-Light-Dinner" will take place at the underground tipping station. The room will be illuminated romantically with mining lamps and you can eat at tables festively decorated with candles and ore. Classical and traditional mining music will play in the background.

The event will take about 3 hours, including the guided tour of the mine and a tour of the museum. For reasons of savety, only limited amounts of alcohol can be served in the mine.

Price per person: 61 Euro (includes food, drinks and admission fees)

Group reservations

from 9 am to 5 pm for groups of 15 or more (various meals possible)
after 5.30 pm for groups of 30 or more (the big "Gruben-Light-Dinner")

You will meet at the exhibition mine in Ramsbeck. The event can only take place if there are at least 25 participants. You will have to register at least 1 week prior to the date and we would appreciate it if you could make an advance payment.
